Does the kind of crafty stuff you’d expect from a Dunmer
Synopsis:
Crystal Tower Crafter and Lillandril Hexmage are your heavy lifters here so keeping them fed with actions is key. Many of the bodies we’re running also print an Action card making this more of a spell deck than it would appear at first glance. Muck anything not named Goblin Skulk, Daggerfall Mage, or High Rock Summoner.
Noteworthy Substitutions:
Sidenote: Cunning Ally wants your deck to use as many Intelligence cards as possible. Either stay above ~70% or consider cutting it.
Brilliant Experiment: Who doesn’t want an extra copy of whatever happens to be winning you the game?
Ice Wraith: Prints a card every turn it’s alive. Should I repeat that?
Fire Storm: One of the rare AoE cards in the game. Actually synergizes well with the Wards in this deck.
Ice Storm: Sometimes you need an “I win” button. Used properly this can be one of those.
Dunmer Nightblade: Another body to sacrifice and the Steel Swords it leaves behind can be what pushes you over.
Mentor’s Ring: Plays well with Wards and even better with Wards + AoE.
Heirloom Greatsword: A seriously underrated card that helps push for lethal.
Supreme Atromancer: Damages face on Summon making it a much stronger Shocking Wamasu.
Shadow Shift: An Action, a cycle, and might get your Goblin Skulk/game-winning blow around a Guard.
Dune Smuggler: If it’s worth it to you to run the former, you should probably take this card too.
Swift Strike: Double the damage for double the fun!
Thievery: Direct damage = good.
Deshaan Avenger: Plays well with sacrifice and Necrom Mastermind.
Thieves’ Den: Way stronger than it looks in this deck.
Crushing Blow: More direct damage.
Slaughterfish Spawning: An Action card that shouldn’t be overlooked. These guys alone deal 30 face damage in three turns if left unchecked.
