I gotta say, I have no idea what niche this card is supposed to fill. With only 6 stats for 3 mana, you'd think that the effect it has would have some utility, but seeing the top card of your opponent's deck only allows for so much counterplay. If it revealed the top card of your own deck, I could see it having " __ Ally" synergy, but as it is I see very little reason to run this card over Barded Guar or Keeper of Whispers. Which is probably why nobody runs it.

How would knowing of the opponent's next card help me? Will it prevent him from casting it? No.
I would totally understand if the card said: "Upon revealing - you can force the card to the bottom of opponent's deck" - now that's where the things would get interesting.
But the way it currently is? No, thanks.
It helps you prevent prophecies from being triggered. With that in mind, the summon ability is much more effective than it seems. That said, it needs a slight buff to be worth playing. Wish it was a permanent effect. Hope they will buff it or print a better version of this.
If the summon effect were changed to take place every turn, the information this card could give would actually be useful. At least it's got some text to make it more appealing than Jerall Forager or Chaurus.
I can see two niches for this card that can actually make it powerful

1) you are about to break a rune, seeing what card he will get might tell you if you should do it (Javelin, Bolt, etc)
2) you want to steal his top deck with card]Thieves Guild Shadowfoot[/card]. Now you can see if it worth it or the card is nothing you would want and you still have a 3/3 body on the board

not great but can be quite useful i think. In Arena i don't think it pays
