This game is very generous with the rewards that you get. I would focus on 2 colours first and then build your collection towards a third one. Until level 50 you will get a good amount of cards. Also soultap golden cards, unless you dont have enough normal copies of that card.

Be careful to soultrap those special art cards as soon as you get them once you have 3 I can't trap them. I am probably doing something wrong but I have a ton of frozen soul gem capital in crushing blow etc.
Cool deck man. Is there any replacement for the dawnstar healer? I know its effect is kind of unique but I just don't have them.

I dont think they are replacable. Sorry about that. They are just to important for race and comeback situations.

Having a super bad win rate with this one. Could you please elaborate a bit on mulligans and how to play it?

Thank you Sir!

What are you usually lose to?
Awesome deck, played it earlier this month on ladder to quick legend and went 9-1 in the gauntlet. I do wonder why royal sage didn't make the cut though. Any reason you didn't find it worthy?

Was that the deck you played against me and that I lost atrociously to?
Because you cant guarantee to have the health lead early on and then royal sage is just a 4/4. If you could get ring of magicka consistently and a good curve royal sage is def worth it!

Pretty much anyone lol... maybe I'm not aggressive enough. Are you going face most of the time or rather control style?

You control the fieldlane and then go face. If you cant get field lane control just race with dawnstar healer and so on. I had an 75% wirnate with that deck over 200 games. It should not lose to everything.

Thank you for this deck, Snaxximan.

But why no Morthal Executioners? Do you tested them? Are they bad here?

Yes i tested them in the earlier versions for them. Usually they are simply not good enough. Control decks run enough removal to be able to remove them efficiently, Oder midrange decks run creatures that contest them even if you break a rune. Also you are forced to go face so you cant pick up value trades. Another thing is that you very often dont break a rune on turn 3 (when you would play your executioner).
Those are the reasons for me not to include them. Maybe i forgot more reasons, dont know just woke up.

Thank you for sharing your deck, Snaxximan. It's my first month playing and I got to Legend because of your basic template as a free-to-play player.

Due to a lack of cards, I had to make a few changes (An Expert Atromancer instead of a third Supreme Atromancer, only two Shrieking Harpy's, etc). I had a 69% win rate versus your 75%+, but I'm still quite happy.

There were two changes I would have made anyways (although maybe I'm just playing the deck differently and your way is better):
* Swapped a couple Firebolts for Executes, since they are both reactionary cards and Executes tended to trade better against the decks I was facing.
* Swapped a couple of Camlorn Heroes for Morthal Executioners. The Executioners are harder for Control decks to remove, harder for midrange decks to contest, do not force rune-breaking as much when first being played, could trade much better, and led to a significant number of turn 6-7 wins (shorter games are important for those with less time to play). You expressed concern about not always breaking a rune on turn 3, but I found that turn 4 was fine/preferable, since that is when they attack.

Thanks again!

Someone above asked about mulligans and play above, so I'll just add my take on it.
I mulligan for a Lurking Crocodile, Bruma Profiteer, or Wardcrafter. If I have a two-drop, I mulligan for a Hive Defender or The Black Dragon, keeping a Daggerfall Mage or Morthal Executioner (replacement for Camlorn Hero) if I have it. I do not keep my single Camlorn Hero.
If going second, I might keep one of the above-mentioned three-drops instead of mulliganing all for a two-drop.
If facing aggro, Agility, or Intellect: I will keep my Firebolt or an Execute (replacement for Firebolt), but no more than one (Execute has priority and no Firebolt vs Intellect).
If facing a Strength-Intelligence one-turn-kill deck, I will always keep a single Lightning Bolt or Piercing Javelin for Markarth Bannerman.

For turn two, Wardcrafter and Lurking Crocodile have priority over Bruma Profiteer. Generally, I avoid playing Bruma Profiteer or Dawnstar Healer early because I want the benefit of broken runes early, then healing later.

Generally, I will try to ensure I have more health by turn 6 for Golden Saint. This means some early trades to hold the Field lane, followed by face.

I generally play like a Tempo deck, playing all free Prophecy cards immediately, even if it is somewhat of a "waste."

If I absolutely cannot hold the field lane, I'll just go Shadow Lane and race, relying on Dawnstar Healers and Prophecies to keep me alive.

Against control, I keep virtually all of my Lightning Bolts and Crushing Blows for the final push (I don't keep them in the mulligan, though).

If going second, I will strive to save a Ring of Magicka gem for turn 8, when I'll often have an Atromancer.
Great deck thanks for sharing.
I think golden saint is a dead card so many time in this meta, what would you replace it with?
