### WinD of AE - [1st Place] Dreaming Neon Black ### -Skyrim Control-

EDIT: I noticed someone dissing this deck due to it not having "Mantikora" or "Miraak" etc- The Reason why? You need to get your head OUTSIDE of the previous meta. Here is what happens when this deck faces a Control Mage using Mantikora and Miraak.

Do your best to get Rebuilders, Mentor, Ancient Lookout and Midnight Snack out early as you have Soul Tear to revive them for the health boost. Late game you really want to mess with your opponent using Soul Tear to revive either Dragons or Footsoldiers. for the 6 pool it was looking a bit stacked thus why we are going in 2's - Note I swapped out the Edict of Azura to only 2 in the deck rather than three, boosted Jav to three rather than due due to prophecy.

Deck Tracker Stats thus far: 3-0 (non Tracker 5-0)
Rager Archer 1-0
Mage 2-0
(Also played against Crusader 1-0, Warrior 2-0, Assassin 1-0, Monk 1-0)

Had this deck constructed for me in a sensei lesson with WinD. This is a really amazing deck.
it works tremendously. I was not sure looking at the list that I would consider it control but in this meta
believe Wind when he says this is "skyrim control" so far I am 5-2 but one game was my mistake playing the commander instead of nahagliiv

You did a good job. Keep it up and let me know how your progress is going with the deck.

WinD
This deck is amazing buddy!
Great job. The only problem for you posting this is that as of rank #2 I am starting to see it every damn match.

Can you please show your Strength based builds? Mainly Battlemage, Crusader and Archer?

I will be posting "Dead Heart In a Dead World" (BM) "I AM THE DOG!" (Archer) and "The Politics of Ecstasy" later today.

Results = A+ now I am dreaming in neon black. Very neat name that is fitting.

Mage 5 of 5
Control Mage: 2 of 2
Willpower: 5 of 7
Rage Archer: 3 of 3
Archer: 1 of 1
Spellsword: 4 of 3
Monk: 4 of 5
Warrior: 3 of 4
Scout: 3 of 3
Neutral: 0 of 1 (really odd neutral deck)
Praetorian Commander = Perfect at 2 for the deck. I find 3 to be overkill in most builds and against opponents, I utilized this decks strengths while they wasted that 6 pool of mana to +2 +2 one too many times. When Paarthurnax is played it almost is always exceptionally satisfying as I will have guards out from Mentor of the Watch saving it mainly for Spine of Eldersblood in order to gain mana fast while having protection. This is a brilliant blend, Soul Tear is insane with this list of cards. I have used Soul Tear to bring back a +19 + 19 Undying Dragon 's which is really under-used. This deck displays how darn strong that card really is.

This is my go-to deck at the moment. I am looking forward to see if anything JL, CVH etc end up topping it although I think you could change a few things I have not messed with what I think may work better that much; whenever I have it has ended in a loss it would seem whatever you figured out here ends up working despite having one or two cards that would seem to be beneficial to the build end up detrimental. I was confused on why Legate Rikke was in the deck alongside Imperial Reinforcements 's although after using Soul Tear once on Renowned Legate it became obvious how deadly this deck really is.

Bravo I am looking forward to those decks you mentioned.
This is a top Legend rank deck.

Great job! Happy to see those stats. My Deck Tracker thus far has the worst Percentage against other Spellswords and 3 losses against Monk (note 7 wins) - Spellsword is the only 50/50, just got it back up to 16 games 8 wins 8 losses; it is by far the weakest archetype matched up with this Deck.

As for Mage 11-0. (Control Mage 5-0) and Rage Archer (6-0) are the most dominate.

Thanks for this deck, aeWinD, looks pretty interesting.

Is there a way to replace 2 Auroran Sentry?

Auroran Sentry is a tough one to replace. I think it is rather key to have due to potential dual lane use all damage becoming health; then reviving em with +2+2 with soul tear; I will think long and hard about this and get back to you. Although I am not quite sure the synergies will work the way they happen to work if that is interrupted.
If you have at least one then I can see a potential singular card swap that may be able to replace until you have a second copy.

I've been running a variation being a few good cards short but I've found a lot of success using Dark Guardians in place of DSH. Imperial Reinforcements has felt unplayable so far but maybe that's just my luck. Looking forward to crafting the rest of this deck and giving it a real shot.

hold out on reinforcements until either A) you need to close a lane B) perhaps create some heat on the main lane while preparing to stack the shadow lane or C) You want to deploy them after you have 8 Magicka to use Legate Rikke and the Action - it will spawn a full board of imperials which may not seem very threatening but it soaks up time. SOMETIMES this deck needs a bit of time like a fine wine to mature into a match -laughs-.
I thought about adding Dark Guardians as it goes more on that control aspect - removing control and gaining draws although the DSH is to keep the health stacked for those two undying dragons which.. can be quite something else especially if you are able to run two praet's and a few soul tear shouts - then +30 health becomes this insane life steal card you drop on the board; and you can use it as an intimidation card if you have a soul tear left by using Mentor of the Watch to give it guard, or if you happened to me in a situation I had been in; with 2 midnight snacks dead by the end of turn 2 (with the ring) - deducting from Spine of eldersblood while turn 3 dropping a Tree Minder Turn 4 dropping one Spine of eldersblood = Turn 5 Nahagliiv / renowned legate or not using the ring yet and dropping down a undying dragon followed by an Auroran Sentry to protect it in the shadow lane. If that sentry gets jav'd - Soul Tear it back.

My only issue i've had is against people playing the exact same deck they got from here, my website, reddit etc as they will get better draws - or against (sometimes) very fast aggro decks; although I did have a game down to 8 health on turn 4; they have nearly 45 or so - turned it around into a 70 some odd life win. Was a great moment.

Taejeek look in the coming days for 5 decks I will be unleashing to the world at the same time. I can promise you all of them are refined in the current meta and utilize arch-types that may be a bit more popular while being unconventional at the moment for those arch-types. I am keeping one those decks under wraps until I finish the next 3 tournaments this week, then its time to post it up and let the world enjoy.

I am glad you are digging the deck buddy! I apologize for that super high cost. I've been testing the game since it was in a closed alpha state and own 100% core, 100% DB 93% Skyrim (I can craft the remainder, just holding out in case I need dupes of certain expensive cards / legendaries for a deck). I try to make decks for myself first, although when I have a student at gamer sensei I need to keep in mind how much of the collection they own. When I made this deck I was making it for a student but at the same time paused and said "I am going to also make this for myself... I am liking the way this is grooving" luckily the student was happy and I am happy playing it! It murders players!

The best asset of this deck is its flexibility. It has optimal winning conditions built within its idealogy although it has countless potential winning conditions to utilize. What I've found from those who add me after a game and toss me a message is that "I was not expecting that type of deck!" or "It was hard for me to guess what the heck this decks direction was" - for me that is key when designing a deck. If the opponent assumes you will be playing X Y or Z card and instead you play A B or C - it can change the momentum mentally let alone statistically.

I look forward to going back and forth with you on ideas with my decks, to see your progress with it and other decks you use - by all means please do add "WinD" in game.

This deck is bad, without idea and synegry at all: playing treeminders without hist groves, commanders with tokens, no aoes, no mantikoras or hive defenders, dawnstar healers in defensive deck, a lot of bad cards, etc.
Looks like a troll deck with troll comments to me.
Stay away from this deck guys, don't craft anything for it.

I don't know if it is a troll post, but I too am not doing well with it. 2 wins 12 losses rank 1.
