Why Young Mammoth and not Pit Lion?
Pit Lion is so inconsistent in my version, and with archer running wild, they can snipe easily one of your minions in one lane and never get a chance to play him in the early game, so the -1/1 stats is a good trade off for the lions inconsistence

Why Haunting Spirit over Bruma Profiteer?
Again Haunting Spirit is a more imposing presence, harder to remove and the opponent my use a silence on him or make suboptimal plays to remove it, while most of the time bruma profiteer catches 2 arrows or a firebolt and dies, and even if he stays alive you get most of the time just a buffed creature.

Why no Imprisons ?
I build the deck with archer in my mind so I’ve removed some of the tokens generators, that by default makes imprison weaker, and I find Edict of Azura just too efficient removal, I honestly struggled hard between putting 3 edicts or 3 javelin.

Why Shadowfen ? You have Edicts already!
Shadowfen is a staple that I recommend people to run it in every deck, removes support and silence for 5 mana and a 4/4 body! That’s an insane card right there, “the Earthbone spinner” of purple !

How good is Tullius, is he worth crafting ?
Tullius is very good because he is split in 3 pieces 2 of them are guards, Tullius himself will eat removal almost everytime and still leave 2 guards on the field. How many cards can do that, for that I feel that Tullius is a must play, I would play 3 Tullius if I could, but he isn’t worth crafting for budget players, that’s because Golden Saint is a very strong card on it’s own so you just play another one if you don’t have Tullius.

How good is Bone Colossus, why 3 ?
Bone Colossus is one of the staples of this deck and every token deck, he is the late game finisher, he is absolutely insane and the fact that you can play 3 just makes it even better, put one it gets answered, put the second one and is game over.

Is Black marsh warden any good since you don’t ramp and you have to play it sometimes on turn 4?
Usually I don’t play it on turn 4 but a lot of times I find that I must play it, so I play it, and it never dissapointed me, in any game, not to mention that she won games by herself and has incredible synergy with bruma profiteer, fifth legion and divine fervor, so 3 of them any day in every token deck.

Looks great! Can you explain decision behind Haafingar Marauder? Isn’t it too inconsistent/unreliable? I see how it can lead to sick swings though… Do you find it necessary and if you had to, with what would you replace it?

Tvp9 1 week ago
So I find it amazing tbh, even in this one game were I popped only a rune with it. He usually demands to be removed, so he always eats up opponents removal, that being said on a scale of 1 to 10 I would rate his importance at a 7 or 8 so you could replace it if you don’t have it, Pillaging Tribune is great for heal, used to run it pre patch, Loyal Houscarl is an underrated card in my opinion, Hero of anvil was great pre nerf but now I don’t know have tried him, you could just put another shadowfen or another edict, or disciple of namira for more card draw altough I find it very inconsistent and at that mana I usually like something threating on the field, that’s why I play Haffingar.

Why do you include piercing javelin instead of one more edict? Is +1 cost only for the chance of triggering on a prophecy in exchange for less versatility really worth it?

Tvp9 1 week ago
That chance to proc from prophecy is very huge and game changing I like Javlin better, but feel free to swap it I seriously doubt that swaping one for the other gonna impact the performance of the deck that much if at all. The deck is also heavy on 4 so that’s also a reason why I put javelin.

How effective would Lucien Lachance be in this deck? Only asking since I only have one Haafingar Marauder and thinking of filling Lucien instead of crafting a second one

Tvp9 1 week ago
Lucien doesn’t really fit in this deck since you don’t really trade very efficiently, I think the only decks that he fits in is Ward decks.

Nice deck, good early pressure and a late game dominated by bone colossus.
Divine fervor make this card even more scarier.

Cool deck, but I feel this deck is weak against aggro decks since it doesn’t have any high hp taunts, heals, nor drain. Really hard to come back against those type of decks if you’re behind especially since any removal you might have cost at least 4 to use. Also feel that card draw is a big issue with this deck

And personally for me, I don’t feel this deck is really a “destroyer of archers”. Have a hard time winning against them with this deck since they just have alot of answers when it comes to removals that let them gain board control easily. Any Imperial Reineforcement usually gets destroyed by Skaven Pyromancer. Leaflurkers and Finish Off just destroys any good creature I have, or they get silenced by Earthbone Spinner if they are buffed up. Can’t keep up with Archers card draw thanks to Jarl, Varanis Courier, and Thieves Guild Recruit. And when Bone Colossus finally comes into play, I’m playing from way behind just trying to survive the next turn.

Maybe I’m just playing the deck wrong, but I haven’t had much success with it. Will keep trying though since I do find this deck very fun to play
