Thank you mate, rushing to legend so early doesn't mean anything though, just trying to spread the love for Spellsword as it doesn't see any play in the meta
Copy and Pasted >.> U not the maker xD

Oh hey, it is you again Raga Kratos, the guy who claims to be the creator of every deck out there. Remember when you added me during a match when I was on Ramp Scout, and you bragging with stuff like "man I created Ramp Scout, everyone is playing it now". Yeah totally. You also bragged about your rank and when I checked and exposed your lie, you deleted me immediately. You are such a coward, and imbecile too. Now you come here just to bullshit? Reported.
Why Immolating Blast? Is this a way to control decks that throw out a ton of small creatures, clearning the lanes for your big guns?

Yes, it is mainly a tech choice against token decks and other aggressive decks which are popular, like Token Crusader, Goblin Archer, Warrior etc. But it can serve as a good removal against slower decks too. It is rarely played and people tend not to play around it which is good. It is also strong against Ramp Scout after they drop Hist Groves alongside creatures, you can get great removal value from it
How does this deck feels against ramp scout?

It's a 50/50 matchup, the one getting the big stuff like Paarthunax first usually wins. Kinda feels like a Ramp Scout mirror regarding this, its definitely not fun. You need to get maximum value from your removals and be greedy. You will usually be the one who will take a lot of damage down to the last rune but then start to turn the match around
If you want to make this matchup a little more favorable you can tech in some arrests. Keeps them from being able to soul tear them back.

Verry nice deck man, ty!
Super strong Deck, nice build, great curve. And your results proof the stability. GJ
I am missing a 6 and a 8 cost boom-boom, any replacements?

Which cards exactly on 6? And by "a" you mean one copy? I updated the list so it only runs 1 Dawn's Wrath now
Although I don't hate the deck, some choices seem a bit weird.

The one-of shadowfen and one-of dark garden hurt me deep inside.

Regardless - I think the fact that this deck isn't more powerful is the reason that scout ramp is such a thing. Spellsword has the single-creature removal. It should be the natural counter to scout ramp and a top deck in the meta. The problem is that it's so unbelievably bad.

The spine and undying dragon also seem a bit weird. It seems like a half-ramp half control deck that probably isn't great at either.

... That being said - spell sword is my favorite color combination. I played esper every chance I could in magic, and orzhov when the good lands were out of cycle.

I made some changes and also wrote a new description above. I think you view the deck from the wrong angle
Hey Levios, with you having so many dragons, do you see any potential spots for Devour in this deck or do you feel it's just too hard to fit it in?

I really don't like Devour, also the deck has enough removals already and there is just not a single spot for it ^^

I love spellsword, but always feel like it's missing something.

What is your overall strategy with this deck?
How do you play against aggressive decks?
which starting cards work best for you?

It is a full control style of play, you try to keep the control of the board at all costs, look for the best value for your removals (you can be really gready against slower decks here, I often let hit me on purpose to draw cards and then get good Immolation Blast value) make good trades...if you survived to a certain point you will usually start to build up your own board and if the circumstances allow it you start attacking the opponent yourself, but not before. On some matchups and situations you can though, but that depends a lot against what you playing against and if you can keep bringing new stuff to the board, but that requires experience to have the right feeling for it.

Against aggro you usually keep Execute, Bruma, Tree Minder, Dark Guardian, Hive Defender - if you have the ring I sometimes keep Immolating Blast.
