Smash face and get rewarded for smashing face!

This deck is really fun to play with. Good early game, has a lot of things that swing the tempo even more towards your side and has a lot of finishers.

I have just made it to legend #111 with that deck, defeating prophecy battlemage, midrange battlemage, some ramp (warrior and scout). Without a good mulligan you are more likely to lose. Keep at least a single 3-or-less drop in hand if you don't have any, even if it's Skaven that you want to use more as a reaction.

If you're looking for budget replacements:

Relentless Raider -> Fiery Imp
Rift Thane -> Graystone Ravager
Protector of the Innocent -> Lurking Crocodile (?) or Mudcrab Anklesnapper
Dawnstar Healer -> Bruma Profiteer (for a juicier early-game) or Knight of the Hour (if you have DB)
Withered Hand Cultist -> not really a replacement, but additional copy of Golden Saint and (if you picked him in story) Tyr. In case you did not, you can add The Black Dragon if you have DB, Ulfric's Housecarl if you got to rank 9 or higher last month?
Cloudrest Illusionist -> legit no idea. This card is too good to not have. But I guess you can make it more aggressive and add Steel Scimitar or Battlerage Orc.
Dawnbreaker and Underworld Vigilante -> if you have DB, only replace Dawnbreaker with Vigilante. If you don't, replace both with Battlefield Scrounger.
Lumbering Ogrim -> Stormcloak Vanguard. Not quite a 4 drop, but it's another 2 drop that grants you a better-than-average 4 drop. Alternatively, but that's only if you really like being risky, Ulfric's Zealot.
Garnag, Dark Adherent, Earthbone Spinner and Belligerent Giant -> Cast Out and Bone Bow. Giants and Spinners are a part of a lot of decks that have red, so crafting them is a good idea. Garnag is from DB, so also pretty obtainable. If you can add him, add him. He WILL save your ass against late-game control or ramp. Delaying Odahviing or Dawn's Wrath for at least a turn is huge.
Haafingar Marauder -> Hardly any bombs. I wouldn't make this a priority craft, but it is one of the backbones of the deck. I guess, in order to keep the "benefit from kills" thing you can add Aela's Huntmate? 2 of them and 1 Aela the Huntress? 3 Savage Ogres if you want your curve to end later? Fiddle with 'em I guess?

Obviously your curve isn't going to be as smooth, but you will save a coin or two.

I went with this budget-ed deck into the ranked ladder at legend and I went 2-2. So yeah, I feel like for lower ranks that deck can definitely work just fine. Keep your plays smart.

During your mulligan you shuffle all the items and 4+ drops that aren't Hive Defender. Preferably keep 1-2 drops, 3 drop (excluding actions) if there's nothing smaller.

Your gameplan is very aggressive. Play the strongest card in the curve with an exception of Vigilante. Prioritize placement of aggressive cards over guards - keep your guards as a reaction to opponent's actions. Cast out is great against gigantic drops and punishing greed - stuff like Quin'rawl Burglar is a fantastic example of a cast out target, since it's a drop that offers absolutely nothing on board when it appears, only when it sticks for a turn.

Keep as many charge creatures and damage buffs as you can until you get your opponent to a low health, then feel free to unleash hell on him.

Really enjoying this. Playing it with 2 flame imps and it does have a fun interaction with Marauder in thst if the ability breaks a rune, it gets to hit face with the weapon buff
The housecarl seems like a more adequate replacement to Wither Hand Cultis

very likely. I probably wouldn't blame anybody for putting housecarls in there. However, delaying stuff like ice storm or javelin can be really, really crucial sometimes. When I was climbing most of the stuff I played was some sort of control.
Won our tournament deciding game... so I have to give compliments to the deck. Excellent curve, mid burst. I imagine it's a decent counter against some of the main meta decks.
