This is the deck I climbed to legend with late last season. This plays more like a control deck than anything else. Some easy paths to victory are looping Alduins and Paarthurnax in slow matchups (but watch out for control decks playing Miraak, he can take one of them and make it very difficult), hitting something large off of Thieves Guild Recruit will let you play a more aggressive midrange game (the best signal you should do this is TGR into Tazkad). Otherwise you are just going to grind them out of cards by playing guards and sniping big threats. If you are too low to break runes against aggro you should wait for a Woodland Lookout to gain life out of the danger zone, or wait for the Swamp Leviathans to kill them in one turn. I usually try to overkill by at least 5, and ensure I can skip the last rune when it's a risky kill.

Why scouts report; is it for synergy with Skeletal Dragon?

with scout report u can send dragons to the graveyard, it is for synergy with alduin

it's mainly just to lower the card count of the deck. It isn't great right now, since the meta is so aggressive, I would consider playing shadow shift instead, as another commenter suggested.

Fighters Guild Recruit is way better than Midnight Snack. It hard counters token (especially Pit Lions and Fifth Legion Trainers), playing the deck without them is torture in the current meta. I would also play Shadow Shift for Card Draw instead of Scout's Repor, ShadowShift is way more flexible (especially with FGR) in the current meta. Allows you to efficient trade, most people don't play around.

Alduin is not necessary at all. Win-More card against control decks, that is already a free win due to Soul Tear's Value.

I would add 3 Preserver of the Root, due to the aggressive Meta (yes its not the best 4 drop), its clunky. But if you managed to Ramp 4 mana 6/6 Taunt is a must. Even playing a 4/4 for 4 can fill the curve.

I agree for the most part. I think keeping some number of midnight snacks is still good though. Alduin can actually never be cut from this deck because mine is premium.
