Pretty straight forward aggro which works insanely good in the current meta. If you have any questions about cardchoices or something like that just ask me. :)

Strange to see a crusader deck with no Rift Thane. And no Earthbone Spinner or Hlaalu Sharpshooter. What is the purpose of Marked Man? In Hlaalu it is fine for plot and to trigger Manor but why here? I belive you got to legend with this deck but I have no clue how.

Hey Savos! Not playing rift thane is a metachoice. Since there is a lot of aggro on ladder i prefer to have a decent Prophecy count and Play circle initiate instead of rift thane. I dont Play spinners or sharpshooter because we have a plenty of ways to deal with guards and high priority Targets. There are many buffs to guarantee value trades and the one off cast out and penitus have been really good for me. Also the ability from underworld vigilante can be a livesaver if youre able to trade hidden threats in shadowlane. Marked man is really strong because of the legion trainer/orc clan captain package and ofc because we Play pit lion in this deck. I think marked man is insanely strong in an aggressive list which get some use of buffs and Synergy Cards.

Hi man, congratulations for your result. I’d like to thank you for providing an alternative deck in this imho horrible meta, full of hlaalu, shouts and pretty much nothing more.
Don’t think the list needs any change, but I’m trying 2 cast out and 1 vigilante with good success, having lost a couple games drawing the 2x 5 drops. Plus, an additional prophecy is always good to have in this meta.
Also, did you try Divine Fervor and/or Housecarls? Thanks again, best luck climbing!

Hey Soda! thanks a lot for the Kind words. Its great that you Experiment and tune the list in your favour. To your questions:
1. I think this deck is too fast to play fervor. Token is a great deck but one of its biggest drawbacks is having a lot of Synergy Cards and if you draw poorly at the start (lets say for example pit lion, imprison and fervor) you cant do anything in the first turns when it is most important to build a board and start the early pressure. So my thoughts were making this list faster and cutting some of the Synergy Cards from token (in this case only fervor) and focussing more on early explosive turns. You could see it like this list play Scimitar instead of fervor.

2. We play ash Berserker in this list instead of housecarl because we have a lot of ways to almost Always trigger the Berserker with the fifth legion Trainers/orc clan captain core + morkul/Scimitars and a bunch of five attack Monster like pit lion or stormcloack batallion. also something to note is the better statline even one attack more doesnt seem that impressive it can often make the difference. I know about the potential drawing multiple Cards in the same turn with housecarl but we have enough carddraw anyway in this list (in total 12 Cards). Im Pretty sure ash Berserker is the better choice for this list than housecarl. If i had to chose between both in a token crusader i would prefer the housecarl because he is a dual color card and synergizes with resolute ally.

I hope i was able to explain my thoughts well. :)

I tried this deck from last night onward, since I had most of the cards and my Redoran build just seemed to not work as well anymore. Or no, that’s not true. My Redoran worked during the week and I had some awesome runs, where I won 21 out of 30 matches (in ranked). But then I hit 5 and it all started going downhill and I basically just was able to go back and forth in the “snake”.

Anyway… this deck feels strange to play. I didn’t get much value out of Cloudrest Illusionist yet.
I either win with the last attack (where otherwise my opponent would win) or most of what I play gets removed constantly and I end up loosing because my opponent starts a comeback at 3 health and I just don’t get a lucky draw that could help me win the match. But I know that problem already from my Redoran deck.

Still… it’s kinda fun to see an opponent fill both his lanes thinking he won the match now and then you just remove his guard and hit face with one lonely creature. This deck is definitly for people who like living on the edge.

I’m not sure though if I have the luck that is needed to climb to Legend with this deck. But it definitly wrecks people in Casual, so there is that.

How were you playing it? I’ve been having great fun with this deck, don’t try and control the board though, the only thing I ever trade with is drain cards that are over 2/2, I ignore everything else and just smash face, don’t keep hold of scouting patrol hoping for Fifth legion trainer either, I throw them down straight away for the sake of Pit Lions, playing it that way I’ve had more or less a 90%+ win rate

Hey, I just started Legends and I don’t have any Brotherhood Expansion cards or the epic cards. How can I replace those cards, namely Cloudrest Illusionist, Pit Lion, and Underworld Vigilante.

Also, should I craft Candlehearth Brawler or Ash Berserker first

Ash Berserker first. It is used in many more decks and is definitely considered the stronger card.

hey mate! i post a deck here another user (AvgSizedP_Nis) posted.

https://legends-decks.com/deck/43960/budget-aggro-crusader-

this is a budget red heavy version without any of the storybased Cards and I couldnt have done better than him. Its an awesome budget list.

deck seems neat! What would you replace Dawnbreaker with? Thanks in advance.

i replace it whit a 3rd vigilante

FroGGer91 1 year ago
3rd vigilante is indeed a great replacement. if you want to have the curve a bit lower you could add for example a raiding party.

Hi Frogger91 :)
Why the Scimitar over Dagoth dagger? I usually save weapons until I can get lethal and the breakthrough usually is crucial. The +1 health is situationally good but generally this deck wants to get through over making favourable trades right?

is pretty obvius that +1 yeah can be situational but if you survive the trade, you still have a body on field for another attack or just pown the enemy making him suffer

FroGGer91 1 year ago
Hey Efthimios! the +1 life is super important because most of the times you need the Scimitar to trade up high Health guards/strong minions or you Play it and go for face, so you dont need the breakthrough damage anyway. If im honest, I would probably even Play improvised weapon before i Play dagoth dagger. I dont think dagger is good enough compared to Scimitar. I hope this answer was useful for you! :)

Been on here a while but this is the first time I’ve commented. This deck is good, I really wasn’t expecting much, thought it seemed pretty 50/50 but gave it a shot because I was bored with my Tribunal deck and I had all the cards for this. I’ve played about 20 games so far and only lost 2 or 3. Thanks

Really nice deck.
Did make some small changes. removed 3x Circle initiate for 3x Piercing Javelin, so i can destroy i hard hitter og guard and make way for my dmg. Removed 1x Penitus Agent for 1 extra Underworld Vigilante. Finally added mundus for Cast Out :)

Thank you for this deck!

Just reached Legend #826 from Atronach Snake in 21 games ( 19 wins 2 losses)!

I only swapped Dawnbreaker for Cast Out to get this one more prophecy.

This is the first time I’ve left a comment on a deck, but I’ve had nothing but success with it so far. I had to craft quite a bit but it was definitely worth it. I’m starting pretty far back at Level 9 but it’s been great.

I don’t have Dawn Breaker so I subbed it out with a third Underworld Vigilante as BarbatosLibra suggested and subbed a Cloudrest Illusionist with a Bone Bow to get rid of guards.

Fantastic deck!
