As for using this deck, try to agressively mulligan for early game as the Ice storms are your only way back up vs agro. That and Skulks are just amazing to draw Fireblooms and Schemers.
Depending on your opponents deck, you can generally break runes to either try to race vs midrange or get control down low enough for a Smugglers Haul + Hexmage or Supreme Atromancer combo. There are 4 spells and 4 creatures that can drop from Smugglers so both combo’s can be very big. Vs Agro you can try to play control having your non Skulks trade and generally just remove everything as you’ll probably be able to grow you board big enough with some patience after your opponent has run out of cards.
Without actually keeping stats, here are the estimated match ups:
Control / Lategame decks: With an agressive early draw a very good matchup with combo’s generally being very capable of finishing off your opponent.
Midrange: I’d say a 40/60 chance against your favor if not worse as you won’t be able to get him low enough before they have more valuable minions that don’t get killed by an Ice Storm to finish them off with a combo before they kill you.
Agro: Draw your early answers and you’ll do alright, if theres a Devine Fervor in there you’ll have a hard time due to the lack of support removal, but otherwise pretty decent unless the Agro has the nuts.
!! Token and Monks generally just murder you completely due to their incredibly large amounts of creatures you have to deal with and once the Devine Fervor comes down all hope is lost. The more late game versions of Spellsword are a pretty decent match up though because they allow you to go past turn 9 and by then you’ll probably be able to deal a mean amount of dmg.
