Outdated (1.69 patch)
Crafting Cost: 9800crystal
Missing Soul Gems: Add your collection to see the soul gems you are missing.
I was trapped at Level 6 for ages, then found Furo's Scout Shout. This is a cheaper version that I cobbled together without crafting because I was missing legendaries and epics in his deck, but the substitutes I'm using got me from the bottom of the Rank 6 Serpent to Rank 5 with a 10-3 record.

Major changes:

The Murkwater Butcher improves my odds of not getting jammed with a bad opening draw.
I was short two Giant Bats. I subbed in a third Sanctuary Pet (the shackle is almost a charge) and a Barrow Stalker (no charge, but guard + drain, and cheaper).
I was short a Soul Tear. I subbed in a Gravesinger.
I was short a Leaflurker. I subbed in a Finish Off, which helps the manna-curve screw-up of the last sub.
I was short a Shadowfen Priest. I subbed in a Vicious Dreugh to ensure I can take out a support.
Instead of legendary Red Bramman and Tazkad, I have a Night Shadow and a Murkwater Shaman.

I'm in bad shape against aggro with a bad draw, or with someone with a deck stacked with legendaries, but if I survive past turn 7, I usually have it put away by turn 13. So much fun to play a Hallowed Deathpriest on turn 5 and take out a Mantikora. 3-0 against red decks, 2-0 against mages, 2-1 against other scouts, 1-1 against monks, 1-1 against assassins.

Obviously, don't spend your shouts too early, try to play the drain vitality shouts with a Shearpoint on the board, and make sure you get maximal use out of Galyn.

Update: got the Giant Bats. Also subbed in a mummify for one of the Brotherhood Slayers, as the deck was inconsistent on removal options, especially for legendaries hidden in shadow or behind guards.

This deck is very good ! I love it !
Yes, this deck is pretty strong. Good that you included the bats, they are an important win condition with Galyn or Soul Tear. I played around 6 games with it and achieve good results (only on rank 9 right now but still ok). I did not need Gravesinger, Night Shadow or Murkwater Shaman to get the job done. I am not sure how important they really are. The Murkwater Butcher is a bit questionable in my opinion. Maybe a Murkwater Witch would also do well as it can also combo with Shearpoint Dragon.
