Rushed legend #1 with this. Fun decision trees, interactive games. Ramp scout was a bit tough, but everything else seemed manageable. Greedy midrange decks didnt end up being as problematic as anticipated. Firebloom carried hard.

I have been playing a variation of this deck for the last week and am totally loving it.

Here are my choices:
-1 wispmother
-1 goblin skulk
-1 black hand messenger
-2 balmora spymaster
+1 conjuration tutor (for endgame inevitability)
+1 vicious dreugh (for support removal--i got fucked up by a slay deck w/ night mother
+2 finish off (mainly for dealing w/ a popular spellsword deck that drops a lot of phat-ass creatures)
+1 giant bat (because i don't have the third messenger, but also if it lives it creates extra value compared to messenger)

this deck has so many ways to create wounded that leaflurker and finish off seem almost unfair. also wtf is up w/ the card draw from elusive schemer, thieves guild, varanis courier, daggerfall, ungolim... ridiculous. favorite play is dropping wispmother and 0 cost elusive schemer or brotherhood assassin. 10/10 would play again

Awesome deck! I got up to tank 1 from rank 3! The only problems are freakin supports! so i took one Vicious Dreugh to have a small chance to remove support! Especially support mage was tough! at turn 6 i ran out of cards and opponent had million if supports, so he easily built an army of creatures and I lost. Anyway - the deck is cool! :)

Thanks, glad you like it! :)

As for support mage, I don't believe dreugh to improve the matchup. Dreughs are bad on all pre-support boards, dillute your draw with Altar on 4, and takes up your Laaneth tutor use (which should almost always be used to fetch Journey or Altar vs support mage). It's sad to say, but I think Assassin is just better off leaving supports in play :/ Fortunately we can push a whole lot of damage post journey, and hopefully eek out some wins, despite their infinite value.
does this deck still work in the current meta? at level 1 not really successful with it... :-/

I haven't had time to play much lately, but as long as you're not facing too many Ramp scouts, you should be good to go.
