Hi everyone, Artic_Soda here. Just hit Legends with Archer:

I started playing during the beta, hitting rank 1 legends a couple times. I stopped playing when the accounts were canceled and the game became what it is now, then re-started in August 2016 and hit Legend every month ever since.

The deck is probably the best you could play in this meta, since you meet A LOT of Sorcerer, Crusader and Monk midrange. The release of
Cradlecrush Giant made the deck stronger than ever, and the nerfs that hit Scout and Crusader didnt affect archer at all. Here's something you should know before playing:

- Snake Tooth Necklace is a must. it may appear optional without Unstoppable Rage (a card I never liked), but since your curve is pretty intense you will always find yourself in need of some extra life. Plus, it helps trading giving some health back.

- As I said, your magika costs are pretty high so don't be afraid to trade any card with cost higher than 4 in your opening hand. This deck tends to go low on life against aggro before recovering later given the amount of prophecy, card draw and lifegain it has, so the only way to die is to draw too many Giants and Baronesses.

- Every matchup can be won (except for UW support). Keep this in mind while playing: there will be scenarios where you will have to combine your removals and go low on health, but this deck has no really bad matchups. If you meet too many mage support, consider including Journey to Sovngarde in your 50, even if that deck is just built to win against heavy removal decks.

- If you feel like making changes, I would consider cutting Baroness as your first choice, and the Assassins second. I don't think the deck needs any particular change right now, as it is built to destroy aggro and midrange decks which are really popular at the moment.

- Go 1 for 1 whenever you can, as this deck draws a lot of extra cards and trades 2 for 1 really often (leaflurker, Giants, baroness, sometimes Astrid).

- Trade life for cards whenever you can for the same reason: you'll gain a lot of health, so losing some just to draw some extra removals is always worth.

Feel free to add me in game if you have any questions or just want to discuss some choices. Best luck hitting legend this month!

They indicate the cards you are missing.

Edit #4: 13-5
had trouble against creature heavy scout control (2x) and an OTK Battlemage

Sometimes i'd like to go -1 Skaven Pyromancer +1 Earthbone Spinner...

has problems against control decks obviously. you need journey against that.

The deck is built this way to deal with a really specific meta. It's okay to lose some games to control if you can win 2 against aggro, but if you meet to many mages than just play Journey,

was really odd today, win rate only ~50%. maybe my bad luck involved :-)

Great list, sadly im lacking too much cards to play the same setup. And with supplements it endet not working for me.
Id rlly apprechiate if you, as a Legend ranked player, could check out my list and give me some feedback.

I apologize but messed up with some friend requests, feel free to re-send them if I don't appear among your friends.

Why didn't include Mournhold Traitor? Whit the piromancers you can counter his last gasp an get a good 2 drop that can become a threat.

you're not really looking for a threat on turn 1-2, or even later. That card is strong in aggro decks, but here it's not what the deck wants. Creatures have to be good both at controlling the board or playing aggro if needed, and Traitor just lacks the first part.
And honestly I wouldn't cut anything for them.

I get a 10/2 since yesterday, great deck, but I don't have all the cards listed so I use other ones, as Belligerant Giant and Tazkad, climbing from Rank 7 to Rank 5 and on going :D
