Warriors7's June Deck Tournament

Partially inspired by ReireiBarker
and emikaela
Shrine Assassin.
I haven't actually tested this deck before, as I don't quite have all the cards. If you have any suggestions, please leave them in the comments below!

Some Card Explanations and Tech Choices
  • Cornerclub Gambler - targeted self-discard throws expensive items away, especially Dragon Priest Mask. One thing this deck needs to work out is the ratio of discard to targets, and I think that can only be accomplished by testing.
  • Drain Vitality + Therana - infinite Drains, win condition against aggro.
  • Cruel Firebloom + Goblin Skulk - not only does Firebloom act as aggro/midrange deterrent, but it is also a free sac outlet for your equipped items when setting up a Master of Arms turn. Skulk draws your Drains post-Therana.
  • Black Hand Messenger - removal and lifegain in one cheap package, another great way to stall aggro. The presence of items offers extra opportunities to drain again, although there aren't actually too many that buff power.
  • Journey to Sovngarde - synergizes well with the large amount of cycling, and our win condition against control.
  • Studious Greybeard - don't think there are enough discard targets here, but would benefit strongly from testing. One of my favorite cards so kudos to anyone who can make him work!
  • Dres Spy - messes with our Skulk+Firebloom, but otherwise I heavily consider.
  • Daggerfall Mage + Wardcrafter - cheap early game creatures that can trade well and hopefully slow down your opponent a little, but they might be too slow for this deck.
  • Lightning Bolt, Glass Helm of Remedy - we have better anti-aggro already.
  • A Night to Remember/Dark Rebirth - probably too greedy.
