+3

This is my version of the control mage, reached top 100 legend with this version in september and october and had each month ~80% winrate with it.

Crystal Tower Crafter is one of the most underused cards in control mage and has a lot of potential there with lots of spells and Pillaging Tribune. In the Control Mage mirror match you can use it along with the Manticora in a turn to really pressure your opponent.

I play something similar:
-1 Dawn’s Wrath,
+1 Indoril Archmage (don’t have Dawn’s Wrath xD)
-1 High Rock Summoner
-1 Daggerfall Mage
+2 Desperate Conjuring (I love this card, especially when you combo it with Indoril Archmage)

Also, I’ve been contemplating on putting some Dawnstar Healer into the deck, seems it could have potential!

I dont like Dawnstar Healer too much, i usually don’t want to activate the runes of my opponents early.

Dawn’s Wrath vs Indoril: Dawn’s Wrath plays around lane swap, warding and silence. So you will probably often recognize in your games that Dawn’s Wrath would be the better card.

Desperate Conjuring: I don’t like it too much, you often have like a coinflip to get the right card, but if you really want to play it, think about Dark Havester, this is the optimal target for it. The thing with Desperate Conjuring is that you often need to have something on the board for it to be usefull and often if you have a highdrop on the board and it survives you will win anyway. So the only thing I like right now is desperate on Nahkriin for potential Odahviing, because you can play it on 10. But this will change after the nerfs (16th november).
