Hello and thanks for the deck and your extensive article!

How should we play against Prophecy lists with this deck? It's a deck that doesn't like to hold back and it can get out-tempoed by enemy prophecies.

I tend to find prophecy bm to be a very good matchup actually because they have no guards so frequently you can race them despite the prophecies as long as you draw some shackle effects. Take value trades when you can of course, and take advantage of how brittle many of their threats are, they are much worse at protecting their threats than you are. But yes you must race them. Prophecy/mid mage is a lot harder because dawnstar and hive defender can really mess you up. You have to be really careful with your resources but honestly I think its mostly just a nightmare matchup. Often you basically just have to pray they dont hit a bunch of hives/exemplars and you can race. The big advantage here is that mid mage's turns 1-3 are very inconsistent so often you can catch them stumbling early and try to snowball (you can actually get decent field control at times which is rare for this deck.
I see. Thanks for the response!

Is there a alternative to Sanctuary Pet? I don't have the Brotherhood campaign.

And why do you use only 1 Firebolt?

Dark brotherhood is definitely worth getting if you can afford it, tons of super important and useful cards. Its really hard to replace the effect of pet because it is a massive percentage of your shackle density and one of your only ways to deal with guards. Frankly the existence of pet is one of the main reasons why the deck can be played. You would probably have to go up to 3 snakes though you really dont want to, would also need 3 leaflurkers to help with getting through guards. Maybe put in a 2nd bolt then but you feel really bad about it, these changes would very significantly impact performance. As to bolt: its super high tempo but really low value, we cant afford to run out of gas to early so the amount of effects like it that we can afford to run is very limited. It is what I would consider to be the flex spot in the deck, its the 50th card.

Alright, I have bout the Dark brotherhood campaign and it was pretty cool. Got now the same deck and it feels like it forgives 1-2 mistakes. I don't know how, but I win the most games even if it looks hopelessly. How do I play better, clear the board or go direct face?

I love your deck <3

In general this is a tempo oriented deck so you can't reliably take board control and suffocate your opponent, however everything is variable and relative to the situation at hand. I'm not going to tell you to play for board or jam face because neither is correct. As you develop as a player of the game but also the deck you will start to recognize when you have the resources to back up a forward push, when you need to slow down, when to protect your threats from opposing interaction vs create more threat etc....

Hi! How does this deck trade with agro?

This is an anti-aggro deck. Its matchups are actually fairly polarized so while if played at a high level it can take you far on ladder or in tournaments regardless of meta, it should be seen as a tech choice against aggro heavy, guard light metas. (biggest weakness can be summed up by hive defender and firebolt)
Hey! Great deck, the link to the guide/article isn't showing or the link is broken.

No worries, but the website is down. Will wait for it. If you don't mind though, I've been playing with the deck with much success, but I've been winning as agro - turn 5-6. Is this the way it's meant to be played?

Yes, the deck is an aggro deck. It wins by gaining tempo advantages and making it so that its opponent can't win a race against it, and then making it very difficult for its opponent to interact with it since they can't win the race.
