I do not much care for Control Mage either, but this was specifically for Support Mage, which was a different level of pain in the ass to many of us. Control is a viable choice and one I can tolerate in reasonable quantities, and while I don’t prefer it, I don’t support outright hating on control just because of what it is. But you go be you.
