Thank you for visiting the Clockwork City! Be sure to check out our gift shop!

I love the Factotums and the Assembly mechanic. When it goes off, it goes off! Everything is Lethal with Guard, everything pings your opponent for like 6 damage, etc.

The only problem is, it has to go off, preferably somewhat consistently. This is one approach I've found that I like - Reanimator. Dark Rebirth is excellent value for a Reanimator approach, putting a copy into the discard pile and providing an extra Assembly trigger.

The plan of the deck is, generally, to survive long enough to assemble a board of big fat Factotums to hit the enemy in the face.

Alternatively, recurring Assembled Titan and picking Deal 2/Gain 2 means you can stack up some pretty good burn just from summoning new Factotums.

Now, the Factotum part of the deck really builds itself - include every Factotum, and Reflective Automaton. Boom. Done.

The major pain point of the deck is actually drawing the Factotums, and recurring the Assembly triggers. So the two main parts of the deck that need improvement are the draw engine, and the reanimator suite.

  • The Draw Engine
I've tried a few things here - at one point I was using Fabricants, so had some cantrip Dwemer creatures in, but I phased the Fabricants out as part of pulling in some new Isle of Madness cards.

Right now the draw engine is really just Merchant's Camel and Cicero the Betrayer. Laaneth also helps, usually to fetch Assembled Titan.

  • The Reanimator Suite
Soul Tear is currently the bread and butter of the reanimator suite. Ideally I'd also like to fit in Falkreath Defiler, or maybe Gravesinger, but without equipment or other buffs it's hard to find value in the Defiler's Slay trigger, and without a much stronger draw engine it's hard to find value in the Gravesinger's deck-replenishment.

If anyone can point me to some examples of good Reanimator decks, Assembly decks, or has some advice on how to strengthen the above aspects of this deck, I'd really appreciate it!

May I suggest Squish the Wimpy? It triggers Cicero, it could also help control the board with lethal creatures.

Considering reanimator suite, Odirniran Necromancer would work much better than Black Worm Necromancer, since Odirniran Necromancer is unconditional and you can actually pick what you summon back. You are limited to 2-powered creatures, however.

Oh man, Squish the Wimpy is a really good idea! Lethal is usually one of the first Assembly triggers I hit, so I'm absolutely going to try and find space for it.

Odirniran Necromancer is also a great pick. The health condition on Black Worm Necromancer can be hard to hit when I'm too far behind unless I get lucky with stacking Assembled Titan triggers. Now that I look at it, it's a 2-for-1 body that can recur the entire low end of the deck, and that's very good. Definitely adding that.

Thanks a lot for the input!

but both the small sanitizers are 1 power in the graveyard, it will still be good to buff the ones left in your deck. so good call by Raccoonrider
Can u upload an update if you make changes (and maybe write them down?), i wanna keep a track of this deck. I like Sorcerer and Factotums decks so this combination is interesting for me .
