Cool deck! Nice to see Tribunal do something other than control. I’m curious what you think might be good replacements for:

– Lucien
– Ayrenn
– 1x Haafingar Marauder

I know Ayrenn is used in most decks with mage colors so I was probably gonna craft her next, but as of now I don’t have her. Thoughts?

Hey sovereign, thanks. There is something to be said for playing something that is different from what people are expecting. I imagine I’ve won a few games on the back of greedy mulligans from my opponents in preparation for a control deck.

I think the easiest replacement for those 3 would be 3x Mystic Dragon. I did originally have Fate Weaver in there as well so you could mix and match with any of those 6 cards. Cast Into Time wouldn’t be the worst idea but it’d probably push you too far towards control for my liking. Memory Wraith is an alright tech in the current meta as well as a bit of a left field choice.

Enjoy!

Hey mate, how has this deck been doing compare to your Hlaalu? I’m currently around 8k~ soulg gems from completing both decks but not sure which one to go first…Great streaming btw!

Hey thanks mate, that’s appreciated. It’s difficult to compare them simply because I haven’t played much Hlaalu at all. I played it through one rank with about a 70% win rate just to learn the deck on a basic level (mostly so I knew how to counter it).

I would say the Hlaalu would be stronger given the same amount of time and focus put into the deck. I’m struggling to see this Mid Tribunal getting much better than what this list is – the list feels very consistent and seems to only be limited by the meta, match ups etc. I’m also not convinced it’s stronger than other similar two coloured mid decks.

If you want to be different to what everyone is playing then I would play this deck. If you don’t care what people think and just want best possible win % then I would recommend Hlaalu. There is still room for refinement in Hlaalu too imo. I think it could be more aggressive.

Hey Yowie, thanks for replying bro! Really appreciated. I’ll probably go for Hlaalu than, since win rate it’s all I’m looking for right now, I’ve been playing only for a couple of weeks and still need a deck to push the rank. Also something that would make the best of my time, and Hlaalu seems to bem a much faster option.

May I ask what changes would you make to get it more aggressive?

Tough to say without some testing but I’d like to see Relentless Raiders get in there since it’s so capable of big burst / math crusader type turns. Also a 1 drop to activate plot or the Manor. Would like to test whether you can put Dagoth Daggers in there with Steel Scimitars since there is so much card draw.

Missing 1x Bone daddy, any suggestions?

It originally had 1x Wrath of Sithis in it but got swapped out for Vivec so I’d put it back in. Use it on Rage turns vs Dagoth or Archer. Or on Dawns Wrath turns against Yellow control.

Nice, I like the thinking there!
