Have had great success with this deck in current meta:
Reached Legend again today with 20/7 winrate.

Have played this deck for a long time, using curses and Goblin Skulk.
Since its nerf the card was too slow. With Murkwater Scourge the Skulk is no longer needed. This deck has great reach for the late game in control matchups. You have great tools to fight for the board and you often have to decide, whether to fight for board or go face. Let me know your thoughts, I find it a very fun deck to play with lots of flexibility and game making decisions to be made.

CARD EXPLANATIONS:

Forked Bolt- great cheap removal (board control) and reach tool. Also is a free
empower to make Spoils of war cheaper.
Update: Replaced Forked Bolt with 3x Crown Quartermaster
Replaced Daring Cutpurse with 3x Altmer Flameslinger
Replaced Mystic Dragon with 3x Eldergleam Matron
Replaced Torval Extortionist 3x Cliff Racer
Replaced Luzrah with Tazkad

Daring Cutpurse, Lurking Crocodile, Harpy, Mystic Dragon, Brother Slayer, and Lightning Bolt-
Obviously there for the prophecies, Harpy great against aggresive
matchups and to halt drain creatures, Lighting bolt for free removal or
a finsiher, Brotherhood slayer - you really want to get the contract if
at all possible.

Spoils of War and Cornerclub Gambler-
these are your draw engines


Manic Jack- mostly there as an extra discard for Gambler


Mourninghold Traitor, you always want to mulligan for this card, its a great beatstick
and you have free removal for the 2/1 guard left behind, with
curse

Murkwater Scourge- the real star of the deck its synergy with Shearpoint Dragon,
its 3 attack enables it trade well and often turns the game in your
favor.

Luzra gro Shar: This card is optional, but i have had some awesome turns playing her
along with Ancano or Shearpoint Dragon or on turn 12 with Suprem
Atromancer. If you have no other 2 drop you can keep her with the
mulligan. With so many 2 drops in the deck often you can hold on
to her and get awesome value.

Queen Barenziah- this card is optional but is a real threat and often baits out removal.

LeafLurker- great removal and board swing tool

Torval Executioner- This card can just straight up win the game even if you are
a bit behind on board. If you go face great but it has won me a
a number of games from the extra magicka generation, either
allowing me to flood the board, play Supreme Atro early or
alowing me to play Spoils of war and another minion, very
strong!!

Shearpoint Dragon- Co-star of the deck with curse synergy it can remove threats or
guards in your way and allow for favorable trades to keep your
creatures alive.

Ancano- reach and removal

Supreme Atromancer- Finisher- and its just fun to play!
