This deck was super successful from tier 5 to 1. 80 or 90 win rate. It slowed down a bit going through one and legendary but is probably still around 60. You usually will control both lanes by turn 4. You win turn 6 to 9ish. Dre’s wins a lot of matches with all the shackeling going on. There are enough wards to win against aggro a decent amount of the time if you can gain control early. I’m hanging around legend 200 using it.

I’m surprised you’re having such success with it. Lost to an Aggro covenant that dominated a dementia lane, and then to two Sorceror MRs that did a much better job of controlling the board with cards to spare. Daggerfall mage (and, to a lesser extent, BWN) is the only card draw. Wish I knew what I was doing wrong.

So I kinda moved on from this deck as I like to build different stuff to keep things interesting but to comment on how to play this one successfully - muck everything higher than 2 unless you have a crown quarter and a 2 drop. 6th house ami should only be put on a 4 power or more card. You can get 3 power to 4 with a crowns dagger or a boost from the Assassin. Use ward crafter to shield for a trade in your favor. These 2 wards are very helpful for early board control. Dres is good as a blocker if needed but if you can save him for a surprise unshackling that can keep up the pace. Knowing what to drop early for control is how to finish early enough with this deck.

Yeah, I was pretty much doing all that. There aren’t a lot of material surprise shackle situations in a deck without Venerable Ancestor if you’re not playing green. There’s very little removal, and not a lot of synergy (e.g., relatively few warded creatures to take full advantage of Emeric), and not a lot of greedy creatures. Too slow to handle or play Aggro, but not big enough to outlast MR or outpower control.

Right on man. I meant no offense by my play recommendations, and just made those on request. Hope you have success out there with some better decks!
