At the middle of the season I find myself sitting at legend, bored to death and with really no thrill by any of the decks of the current meta.
How to kill time?
Hey, let's try a Unite the Houses deck!

I made this deck for fun, but for some reasons the new triple attribute decks work really well with Unite. I tried a Dominion deck first, but in the end I decided to work on a Guildsworn one, mostly because of Guildsworn Apprentice. Having a triple attribute card that costs 2 is HUGE. If you're lucky, you can unite at turn 7. If you're not, you should have tools to stall until you find your missing attributes, or just winning by dominating lanes.
I tested this deck at legend rank, starting 600ish, and ended up at 150ish in one day, playing a couple hours in the morning and a couple in the evening. From my experience, deck is played as a control deck and usually gets ruined by aggro, but it's really good against other control/combo decks. In particular, I fought close to 10 Ebonheart slay decks and lost only once vs them.
Again, I started playing this for fun and didn't expect it to be consistent at all, but I managed to Unite in nearly all of my wins.
If there's anything I'd replace, would probably be Battlemage's Onslaught.
Please, let me know what you think and if you have any ideas to improve the deck.

[Edit] Replaced Mudcrabs for Firebolts for aggro survivability and Onslaughts for Ice Storms for the same reason. Swapped Balgruuf for one extra Fortress Guard. Added Revitalizer for early health gain.
Added Wabbajack for memes.
[Edit #2] Tweaked the list a bit. Added Wardcrafter and replaced Blackmail with Battlemage's Onslaught, which seems to work slightly better, even if it's more RNG based than the former. Added one copy of Plunder.

Hey mate, awesome deck, but I was just wondering about adding college of winterhold?
Lots of low cost and different attribute card possibilities!

EDIT: I just found out that College of winterhold only offers action cards, not creatures.. sorry, my bad.

Yep, that's why it's not here. I included it initially, but didn't seem to do anything relevant.

Hey!

Just wanted to say that I really love this deck, so much fun. I had to make some changes as I was out of soul gems/don't have the adventure for Laneth yet. I have no Wabbajack, Laneth and only 2 Unite the Houses. I substituted them with two Piercing Twilights as guards and to help the control match up a bit if I have a hard time to collect the pieces to get rid of cards that could outvalue/outrace me. I also added a third Icestorm.

Your version of course is way more consistent. I find myself often waiting to draw Unite or getting my hands on a Green card. But still I started playing it yesterday exclusively on ranked and went from rank 12 to 8 with only 2 loses (must have been over 20 games). Still low ranked games but I was surprised how good this "meme" deck went against all kinds of meta decks.

Thanks for the love! I stated this before, I never expected this deck to be consistent at all. It's still very weak vs aggro (which is often encountered at higher ranks), but unites at a very high rate. If you plan ranking with this, I encourage you to craft at least one more Unite the Houses. Three are probably not needed, but two are a must.
Also, green cards are a problem if you don't fight green attribute decks. There's multiple workarounds for that (i.e. Mudcrab Merhant), but I found the deck lacking a lot of constistency without the extra actions vs aggro matchups.
Glad you enjoy the deck, see you on the ladder!

I included another Unite after disenchanting some unused cards. I put out the third copy of Icestorm for this. I don't have any copies of Mudcrap Merchant but I can imagine that it would make the aggro matchup even worse. I noticed that even with all the anti aggro tools it still hard to keep up when they draw an optimal curve. At the moment I haven't encountered much hyper aggro decks but I guess it is almost an auto lose if you don't have all the defensive tools in your starting hand.

Thank you for your response!

Deck is still viable at lower ranks, I had a few games today (first of the season, really) and got R5 to R3. Went 9/0.

Hey!

I just wanted to update you: I just reached legend (#229) by exclusively playing your Unite deck.
The climb from rank 1 into legend was hardest. I faced a lot of very aggressive decks. I'm still using your old list without wardcrafters and blackmails. I added a third Icestorm instead of Wabbajack.
