I vsed some dude with a dirty aggro assassin and he reached rank 1 legend through beating me 3 times, lol. That tilted me to lose other matchups too at that time.

Introduction

This is a Control Ramp Scout list inspired by Justin Larson and it ended the August season at #110 Legend and reached Legend in 3 days in September season (#23) with 65% Winrate.

Justin has made a few videos explaining his deck and deck choices so go and check them out since he basically created this list.

However, the difference between this list and Justin Larson’s is:

-1 Iron Atronach

+1 Blood Magic Lord

Blood Magic Lord: I went from having 1 from level 50 upgrade, then crafting a 2nd which was which I got to #4 Legend with. I recently packed a 3rd BML, and I decided to swap out Bone Colossus for it since honestly it’s so strong. They either have to remove it or they take 6 damage to the face or give you several Blood Magic cards.

Iron Atronach: It looks insane, however, most archetypes can remove it effortlessly. Willpower decks can destroy it with Mantikora, Agility decks can destroy it with Leaflurker or it can simply be silenced and then have a hard removal spell used on it. I would not be happy if I’ve spent my whole 12 mana turn on one minion to have it taken away and my opponent to gain a lot of tempo in the process.

LEGENDARY GUIDE

Ungolim the Listener: I crafted this card very early since it goes in every green deck and the Brotherhood Assasins are OP. 3/3 body with Lethal and it draws a card for 1 mana! It is a Deadly Draugr on steroids and also draws a card so it doesn’t slow the deck down.

Black Marsh Warden: These are the last legendaries I crafted for this deck, since Deshaan Avengers are available and cheaper and do almost the same thing. These are far better, though as they can give so much value if your opponent cannot remove it. This card is a great addition in Spellsword Token decks which are quite strong right now.

Nahagliiv: I got this guy in a lucky pack before I even made this deck. It is a very strong card. 7/7 stats for 7 mana is OK, however it has guard and it can’t be targeted by spells which makes it extremely strong. It would require several minions to be traded into it or a pesky Leaflurker or Mantikora or even a silence. Iron Atronach is the only card that has a similar effect to Nahagliiv but it’s also almost double the cost. It’s definitely worth crafting for any midrange / control Endurance deck.

Tazkad the Packmaster: This was the first legendary I crafted. It’s very strong and maybe even OP. 10/10 stats in 2 bodies with 6 damage charge. It’s often used as a finisher for me and I’ve topdecked it for lethal a few times but it’s also used for removal. Absolutely amazing card and it should be one of the first if not the first legendary you craft as it’s also used in every Agility deck.

Blood Magic Lord: I waited until level 50 to upgrade my Volkihar Lord. But I do see why Justin Larson includes two. It is the Ysera of this game and it very strong and requires immediate removal or the opponent will suffer. Each Blood Magic card is useful and can save your ass with a 5/5 guard or a full lane shackle or even a 5 damage to the face while simultaneously healing you for 5 health. It’s up to you if you want to craft it and then get another one at level 50 because two does brilliantly too. However just be aware you do receive one at level 50 so you can save your gems for another legendary if you want to only have one Blood Magic Lord. It is a very strong card, though. I recently packs another BML so I’m now using 3 as it is such a strong card!

Red Bramman: One of the last cards I crafted for this deck, since it is only used in Scout decks. I do love it though and it’s very strong. It can save you that one turn you need to kill your opponent or just stabilize the board. It’s a clutch card and if you want a quality Scout deck, you’re going to need Red Bramman.

Odahviing: One of the first legendaries I crafted. I love control archetypes and I play Control Mage (not as much as Scout). This card is perfect for control decks. It is a 10/10 body with a flamestrike effect which often clears your opponent’s entire board. Well worth the soul gems.

I like this one, close to what i have as well, though would you consider an iron Atronach instead of Odahviing ?

Also are there any replacemenths for Nahagliiv and Bone Colossus ?

Hey, sorry for late reply. Glad you like it.

The reason I currently run Odahviing instead of an Iron Atronach is because I’m on a budget and wanted to craft legendaries that go in other decks first. I use Odahviing in my Control Mage and I would only use Iron Atronach in this deck. I will hopefully end up running both when I soul summon or pack an Iron Atronach.

Bone Colossus is not needed however it is a strong card that builds up a whole lane. Nahagliiv is unique and as such there is not really a replacement for it :/ maybe you could try Mountain Tyrant if you want a guard to fill in the spot? This deck is expensive, I’m sorry I can’t give you solid replacements :/ maybe you could try Mountain Tyrant if you want a guard to fill in the spot?
