The old saying goes "Let sleeping dragons lie." But sleeping robots... they must be AWAKENED!

Activating Abandoned Imperfect is the heart of this deck, and with guaranteed neutral draw from Lunar Sway, Halls of the Dwemer, and Yagrum, and supplementary draw from Mechanical Ally and Forward Camp, setting up your Imperfect is easier than ever!

Moon Gate allows a double-neutral-draw from Lunar Sway for Abandoned Imperfect, helps proc Forward Camp cheaply, and gets some nice value from Wax/Wane cards that can keep you alive until the late game when you hit it big with Halls of the Dwemer or Abandoned Imperfect.

Dwemer package fleshes out the rest of the list.

Another interesting deck from the Forward Camp King...

Nice one sir :)

PS: Tell me a bit about Reconstruction Engine here if you can?

I'll gladly take that title! Forward Camp is so much fun, I can't stop playing it.

Reconstruction Engine is here just for Halls of the Dwemer synergy. Those two cards together can create insane amounts of value. It's also a relatively cheap support for activating Forward Camp. I think you could swap it out for Fervor though, which might make the deck more consistent since you're less dependent on drawing your Halls.

I didn't know that the Spiders were Dwemers! No no that stays lol. I will try to find another way to squeeze in Fervor later if necessary :)

Is it at all possible to sub out forward camp?
Yes that'd be OK, Forward Camp is not exactly core to the deck, I just love the card so much. If you cut the Forward Camps you also probably would cut Reconstruction Engine. Reasonable picks to sub in would be additional Dwemer, Eastmarch Crusader, Fifth Legion Trainer, or Wind Keep Spellsword.

BUT... I highly recommend crafting the Forward Camps, just because there's so many super fun decks you can play with them!

Thank you for the reply. Have you tried this on ladder? I like the dwemer theme a lot and I wish dwemer worked better lol

Dwemer can actually be very strong - have you watched risinhigh play? He can finish Top 10 with Dwemer decks and has had a bunch of good tournament showings playing Dwemer.

This particular deck is not exactly a climbing deck - I've played ~40 games in ranked and my win rate is ~50%. But it's been so much fun to play, and even the games I've lost have felt like close games.
Looks nice.
But can someone explain to me why this deck lista more wax than wane? Bug on site?

I noticed that too - Moontouched Guardian seems to be counting as a Wax card but not a Wane card on the site (see here.) I've PMed the bug to Ashmore.
Very fun deck. I took it ranked for a little while today and did ... OK. It's probably not suited for climbing unfortunately, but every game was interesting and fun, and can take unexpected twists and turns where out of nowhere it'll feel like your board is dead and then suddenly you're putting an Awakened Imperfect and two Eastmarch Crusaders onto the field all at once, or more! It's really cool when it starts to go off. I crafted the Awakened Imperfects and a bunch of the Dwemer cards to try this deck out, but also I've always wanted to play your other Forward Camp deck lists that you've posted here, and I've always wanted to try out those Halls of the Dwemer decks too, so this all in one seemed like a good reason to craft.
Question: Do you have a more ladder-competitive decklist I can borrow that uses either the Dwemer theme OR the Forward Camps? Not necessarily both in one list. I know there's a competitive Dwemer deck out there somewhere but I'm not sure which one it is haha. Forward Camps may just be casual, and that's cool, but if there is a competitive version out there I'd like to try it out :)

Thanks for this very fun & creative decklist. My only issue with it while I was playing it today was that it seemed like there were 36% of the deck being non-neutral was a little high when a number of the cards rely on neutrals to synergize or do anything at all, multiple times my Abandoned Imperfects sat for a multiple turns without seeing a neutral card draw, and my Mechanical Ally's often didn't proc for the free spider.

That's a good description! It does OK (~50% win rate in my experience) but it is really a fun ride.

Yes! My deck "The Shivering Ship" is a really consistent climbing deck (win rate ~75%), it's a Forward Camp Token Mage. I'm experimenting with adding the MoE cards to that list as well (e.g. Cygnus Standard Bearer and Monastic Champion,) but the list currently posted is tried-and-true.

I do have another Dwemer + Forward Camp deck that doesn't have the Wax/Wane package, here is the code:

For competitive Dwemer decks, see if you can track down Risinhigh's tournament lists.

That's always an issue in neutral-package decks, because the neutral cards are generally weaker, so you do have to be careful in picking and choosing.

Thanks for the response! The Shivering Ship is exactly what I'm looking for, thanks! I'd seen the list before and now I can try it, finally. If you do find any improvements from MoE cards, I hope you'll post the update. After a quick glance, the one card that feels like it needs to be in the list is Mercenary Captain. What do you think? Maybe in place of Royal Sage, which can high roll, but isn't as consistent as Mercenary Captain which will pretty much always be able to give you that damage push, which may even be more useful than random keywords anyway? I haven't tested anything yet though, so that's just my first guess.

I'd have to test it out. Royal Sage survives Ice Storm which is incredibly important in that list because otherwise Ice Storm can pretty much knock you out. And since the only 3-health creatures in that list are Fifth Legion Trainer and Renowned Instructor, the Mercenary Captain isn't super likely to help anyone else survive an Ice Storm either.

(Also, would you mind re-posting this comment on that deck's page? Other people may want to see your comments on that list and if they're posted on this page then people looking at The Shivering Ship won't see them.)

Yeah for some time it even counted as an intelligence card.
Good that you reported that.

Did you fiddle with Consume so far?

Yes I have a Consume list that has done quite well so far, although I haven't played it very much. I'd estimate it's gone 6-2 or thereabouts. It's an aggro assassin.

I had more success with warrior so far. With assasin control appeals a bit more to me because of the mage and the neophyte synergies with imbued bosmer/viper.
Just trying out lunar lethal ping and try incorporate as many new mechanics as possible.
Grinding for gems atm to craft it though.
