I was briefly discussing an Unrelenting Rimmen Siege Archer deck I’d made when I came up with this evil idea for a combo deck that uses Market + Unrelenting Siege and a bunch of Nord Firebrands to combo off and kill the opponent. Old Market died, but I think I may have found a new Market deck. This is still a work in progress so if there are any edits or potential changes feel free to tell me — I’m 100% open to all feedback.

ps. Your first flex spots for card changes are in Relentless Raider and Markarth Bannerman. These two cards are kind of niche, so I even considered cutting 1 of each for some other card options such as Bandaari Opportunist (sorry if it’s spelled wrong).

Honestly, this deck concept isn't anything knew. I've seen similar lists since Siege came out. It hasn't really gained much traction since then though because of how long it takes to set up. By the time you have enough Sieges and Markets to actually threaten your opponent agro would have usually already killed you, mid-ranged will be set up and ready to end things soon, and control will have either answered your supports already or have their answers ready to go. I think this deck type still needs more support to really challenge at higher ranks. Market Archer really hasn't been in a good place for a long time which is a shame because as cancerous as they are to play against, market decks were really fun to play in my opinion.

Thank you for the feedback. And to be fair, I knew it wasn’t knew, but I think it’s something to continue trying and refining. With the TESL competitive scene opening up again, I think we will start to see more people branching with new and old ideas alike. I’m personally missing some of the key components to this deck, which is part of why I shared it with the community.

I think if more people can branch out and be willing to try these things, we might actually be able to find a healthier meta that allows for more variance. Without branching out, we’ll never be able to achieve a meta where everything is technically viable, but only a meta where certain decks reign supreme and others get shat upon.
Oh yeah, I 100% agree with your opinion about branching out. I really don't enjoy seeing the same typical agro/mid-ranged/control decks with very little variances between them constantly being played, like tokens, straight agro, typical mid-ranged decks, and action control decks, but you can't deny their effectiveness. I very much enjoy themed decks that have an atypical play style and end goal but the devs aren't creating enough support for those kinds of decks to be viable. Instead they release a new theme and usually they just aren't good enough to build an entire deck around, like all the keywords that came out of houses of morrowind expansion. Instead there might be a few powerful creatures in those themes that can fit into those typical deck styles that i previously mentioned and it just continues their dominance in the meta. However, they did do a very good job on the latest expansion since wax/wane and consume focus decks actually are very strong so hopefully they continue that going forwards. But in terms of the specific deck you posted here, even if you're saying you don't have all of the support for it, I still don't believe, with all the current cards available, that market archer is effective enough to win consistently at higher ranks, no matter what you might add to it if you want market to be your key play style. I don't want to be a downer on a deck, you're clearly very excited about, but that's Just my opinion. Good luck with it though! Hopefully you can prove me wrong.
You’re fine. I completely understand where you’re coming from. I said I was open to all feedback, and I was serious. Honestly, your feedback was great; it respectfully shared a differing viewpoint. I definitely think Market Archer will struggle for awhile longer, especially after Skulk and Gambit nerfs. But, I mean, there’s nothing wrong with trying, and if the deck doesn’t work, it doesn’t work. At least we all tried.
