Almost identical to Justin Larson’s deck. I personally like Odahviing in this type of deck, not sure why JL doesn’t run it.

I was playing it last night and went 6-1 at legend rank, Typically the deck will be strong against anything other than control mage. I think this verison is 2 cards off of what I’m running atm(cut the deadly draugers for another bat and shadowfen priest). You can also easily cut some of the gimmicky legendaries (eg. iron atronanach)if you want to save some gems.

This deck takes that matchup very very poorly(around 30-40% WR).Either of the other 2 decks I currently have posted(thronds crusader and my midrange mage) can take that match-up extremely favorably.

I played the crusader list on stream yesterday for the first time and it has an extremely low time to kill and I can see how thrond farmed his way to #1 off the back of control mages.

My midrange mage was a thought experiment in that I wanted to take the assassin matchup more favorably and wanted to beat control mage, so I added more early and midgame, have profiteers for more health gain as well as fervors. The key to the deck is you do not burn out as a normal midrange or token deck and fervor by itself can give you a massive card advantage against control mage as well as making your board more aoe resistant.
