The AI gets a huge advantage with the Grim Champions on board to start the game. You need cheap creatures to catch up on the board as soon as possible, but the key is to play minions that won't die until you are able to kill off the Grim Champions. The deck has 18 prophecy cards, which helps.

This deck is almost all early-game minions to increase the chances that you have something to play every turn. If you go end up going first, I would honestly suggest conceding and trying again. There are three main phases:

Ward/Guard - Mulligan hard for something that costs 2 magicka or less (Wind Keep Spellsword / Fighters Guild Recruit / Oldgate Warden). These guys will hopefully allow you to stay alive long enough to get to the next phase.

Silence/Shackle - Despite your best efforts with the first creatures, the AI will have a big creature by T4 or T5 in the right lane. Mummify and Cursed Spectre are perfect for minimizing that threat. Sanctuary Pet is the champion of this deck because when you play it in the right lane, you get a shackle/lethal when you first play it, and another shackle/lethal when it re-animates.

Win Condition: These creatures either grow when something dies (Feasting Vulture / Grim Champion) or have powerful Last Gasp abilities (Haunting Spirit / House Kinsman). Those last two should be played in the right lane to get the Last Gasp twice.

Giant Bat is its own category - it allows you to trade cleanly into an unbuffed Grim Champion (with bonus Drain), and then take out the reanimated Grim Champion with your reanimated Bat. If you have one of these in your opening hand, it might even be worth waiting to play any creatures in the right lane until you can play the Giant Bat on T3.

Substitutions: The deck is relatively cheap, but there are 9 (3x3) Epic cards. Here are my suggestions to replace them if needed:

Iliac Sorcerer - Arrow in the Knee or Suppress
House Kinsman - Deshaan Avenger
Grim Champion - Territorial Viper (Can kill twice if played in the right lane)
