Madness Beckons
The very first cards from the upcoming set: Isle of Madness have been revealed through a special card: Madness Beckons.

Madness Beckons adds a random Isle of Madness card to your hand chosen among the following six.

Idk about grummit and giant chicken. Dark seducer and fortress guard are pretty good tho. Crazied hunger is just more for the aggro. Icy shambles has potential maybe.

I actually like Grum. It's nice to get rid of those pesky Rage and Ice Storm cards.

So far there were no card of effect to force your opponent discarding. Maybe if you overdraw him. But now it changed with this magus. I am sure other cards will appear soon in this type. This makes the controll decks weaker. Good!

Edit: Quite few exceptions.... I forget about Gentleman Jim Stacey. :) Maybe another exists in the game.

Madness Beckons + Cheesemancer are not part of Isle of Madness. They are listed as Promotional card (in the ingame filter)

What "Drains on both turns" means? She drains when someone hits her?

I guess it is the way it should work.

Yes. Drain cards only give you Health when they attack.

Except for this card. This gives you Health if it attacks or gets attacked.

normally drain only triggers on your turn. this card is the exception, so yes, on both turns

If a 1/1 creature hits her, you'll always gain health equal to her power.
Icy shambles will go well with my shackle deck
Dark seducer fights a spot for shrine guardian. Or play both in s/w or tribunal.

Quick first impressions runthrough:
Grummite: Large middle finger to control mage and conscription. Yay!

Seducer: That drain both turns is really good. You're probably going to get health from her no matter what except for hard removal cards like Javalin.

Fortress Guard: Eh. I'd pick Lydia over him, as for just one more cost you get essentially the same thing but with 2 more health and 1 more power. I suppose due to the fact that Lydia's unique could sway it, but all in all, Fortress Guard isn't something I would love, but I could see usage.

Giant Chicken: memes lol. It could be used, especially if confused villagers does something unique, but this doesn't seem like something I would use.

Crazed Hunger: Deranged Corprus 's little brother. This has less long-run value than Corprus, but considering that both can be easily dealt with, I would pick Hunger.

Icy Shambles: Goodbye, Ash Servant . Hello, Shambles. Dres Tormentor with this can get you 5 damage as soon as it's summoned and when it attacks. Deepwood Trapper is a bit less costly when it comes to attack-to-shakle, but Shambles still is a good card.

Well Ash Servant doesn't get removed by Dawnbreaker tho.
You guys have Madness "Beacons" on the homepage. Just FYI.

Thanks!

I feel like fortress guard could strongly play into grave yard decks if you happen to be playing Redoran. Being able to discard a powerful card... say Alduin or Odahviing from your hand when you might've drawn it only to resummon it from your grave yard for nearly free is a huge advantage. But again, mostly only in Decks that run grave yard shenanigans.

Agreed - can't wait to wreck Telvanni cancer with him.
