Let me think: Wait, it does not say "summon the creature of the same color", so possibilities are limitless.

P.S. Imagine casting this on, for instance, Supreme Atromancer (who is a useless 3/3 after he is summoned) turning him into Divayth Fyr. I actually experienced this once - when this happened, I immediately went my pants and gave up the battle. So yes, totally worth it.

Does the card it summons come from your deck or can it be any card in the game?

It can be any card. I mean, most of the time, it is any card. Though the trick with Divayth Fyr I mentioned above seemed to work most of the time. Before Supreme Atromancer was nerfed, that is.
