We have murkwater shaman to either bait a removal or gain free spells, and brutal ashlander to force kill some early game minions or use it with firebloom to destroy enemy board. Also it is a great aggro card and available early and this is a budget deck. High rock summoner and wamasu for dealing with with some midrange decks and also gives us an alternative win condition rather than just comboing with our hexmages.
Thievery is our only life gain, and it combos 5 damage with hexmage, so i would rather keep it. Shadow Shift is essential to move our hexmages and ctc’s so they dont die to enemy minions, also +2 damage for hexmage.
Winters grasp and sadras is nice to have but not essential, and 1of’s but you can cut them, i would rather not cut winter’s grasp. Actually i would put more of it and cut sadras or some other card you feel like instead.
Deck works around rank 2-5, so it would probably work around lower ranks as well. Don’t put ice storm instead of winters grasp, you don’t want to kill your board, winter’s grasp works better in this deck since we want to have a board and make our enemies not attack in to our hexmages or crafters.
Tip: Late game you can firebloom your arcanist to get a spell and push some damage. if you can attack with arcanist to face first, you can get up to 7 damage with it. Also works with soul split. Ashlander and arcanists are primary soul split targets, but you can soul split cunning ally or high rock summoner after you summon it as well. Hope you enjoy while playing with this deck.
