I have been playing the list with a few edits (due to not having Vigilant Giant or a third Blood Magic Lord & Night Shadow). This is a magnificent deck. Gravesinger was the MVP of a few games.

Edit (notable hilarity):
• Unstoppable Rage + Belligerent Giant put the opponent at -20; I did not realise it triggered Breakthrough. Incredible.
• Unstoppable Rage + Night Talon Lord twice in a game to gain 64 Life & steal their entire field, including their own Night Talon Lord. The opponent scooped directly.
• Archein + The Night Mother brought me to 20 mana. She triggered that game, scoring me The Lucky Lady title.

I've recently taken the Vigilant Giant out for a third Belligerent Giant - just way more value and still get all the benefit from Rage.

I've also taken out all ramp besides the Archein and threw in some more early game (Dark Guardian + Frostbite Spider - also works really well with Rage as an emergency board clear)

I'm surprised how many times I've gotten the Night Mother to go off. It's a serious secondary win condition!

Love the Night Talon Lord story - might sub one in for one of my BML's.

Thanks for the reply. I will try out the edits because the early game has been a bit dicey against decks that outspeed us.

I might try for her more often, then. I am semi-cautious as a veteran MTG player, so I do not like splitting my strategic attention too much. You are right, though. I have gotten close only to swing at them for game where I probably could have finished them off with her, but there is always the fear of removal. If I am playing against colours that do not have access to Support removal, and I am fairly certain they are not running a Vicious Dreugh, I might risk it.

How do you feel about Sower of Revenge? I have been using two of those as substitutes for a third Night Shadow / Giant (no third Belligerent yet, either, sadly). They seem to work well. He is better in lists with Falkreath Defiler, but he has proven to be a threat they must manage quickly. He also seems to be a removal/Silence sponge.

I certainly think Night Talon Lord is worth testing. BML is immediate card advantage, but if he sticks, NTL is insane.

I just got Night Mother to proc twice in one game with this deck.

I was having trouble with the master Hall of the Dead - where deaths and silences proc skeletons - and this was the only Night Mother deck I had so... didn't draw it until the 7th round.

At the first proc, he had over 40hp, so nowhere near dead. It gave me 50+ and I had 18 mana (with a full hand!) due to Unstoppable Venomtongue. Night Mother just reset and started a new count. He played a 36/36 Flesh Guardian, but I had Fell. I do admit, that at that point I didn't go for damage, I killed off all the little guys just because.

That was fun.
