So this is the updated Prophecy Battlemage deck.
Pretty straight forward and easy deck to play.
*** Card Picks ***
Relentless Raider – Great 1 drop. If you’re able to break early runes, this card just adds to the pressure. Also you can use it as a finisher for the extra 1-3 damage you need.
Sharpshooter Scout – Pretty decent card, great against mirror match because you have lots of 1 health creatures.
Also, many times you can use this to poke yourself to try and proc a prophecy, or straight forward finish for your opponent.
Afflicted Alit – 3/1 for a 2 drop is decent. Also, you can use it’s 2 damage to finish off your opponent or to try and draw a prophecy.
Graystone Ravager – 4/1 Prophecy for a 2 drop!
Lurking Crocodile – As you probably already understood, we want them prophecies! (Although, I’m testing other cards instead of this one, like the Blighted Alit & Lumbering Ogrim).
Shrieking Harpy – Oh boy, this card is amazing, even after the nerf. You can pull of crazy tempo swings with this baby, especially when drawn as a prophecy.
Wardcrafter – Makes your squishy minions like Graystone Ravager more sticky.
Camlorn Hero – 4/2 with 2 damage for a 3 drop – Value card.
Camlorn Sentinel – 2/4 Prophecy guard. great against aggro decks. (same as the crocodile, I’m thinking of switching it for other options).
Cast Out – Can yield you a crazy tempo swing when used right.
Morkul Gatekeeper – 2/2 Prophecy guard with +2 damage. Great all around card.
Fire Storm – Can save you at times, other times it has no use (Thinking of replacing this as well).
Gladiator Arena – Even after the patch it’s decent. Puts pressure on your opponent and lets you draw cards. Also can be used to finish off your opponent. Great when used right.
Lightning Bolt – I don’t really have to explain this, do I?
Reive, Blademaster – After they buffed this, it’s really solid. If it isn’t dealt with immediately it can snowball like crazy.
Sentinel Battlemace – Your huge pressure card, finish off card, or value trade card.
Grahtwood Ambusher – Pretty decent if played off of prophecy. Otherwise, 4/2 for a 5 drop isn’t that good. (Although it still might be value play from hand).
Fate Weaver – Because you have lots of prophecies, this card can get you a great value, especially if it’s played as a prophecy. Otherwise, 3/3 as a 6 drop isn’t that good. Try to play it if it’s your only move, or you have enough mana for a follow up.
Triumphant Jarl – Your “Gas Refill” card in the deck. Makes sure you don’t run out of cards. Because you always (or at least most of the times) go for face, it’ll proc a lot.
Cards that you might want to try:
Blighted Alit – 5/3 for a 3 drop is really good. Don’t be afraid of the self 2 damage, since you want to draw cards and play prophecies.
Lumbering Ogrim – Straightforward value. 7/4 for a 4 drop is insane!
Dark Rift – I felt it was a little too slow for me after the nerf, but you still might play it.
Mage Slayer – 3/2 for a 2 drop that can’t be damaged by actions. Great against ice storms, fire bolts and lightning bolts. If you can combo it with Sentinel battlemace, it becomes 7/3 with a ward.

*** How To Play It ***
– Mulligan for your low cost creatures so you can put the pressure on.
– FACE IS THE PLACE!-
– Trade only, and only if you must.
– Don’t be afraid to take face damage, because you want to play prophecies.
– Sometimes you want to damage yourself (Sharpshooter Scout, Afflicted Alit) to draw a prophecy.
By the way, I have almost 80% w/r with it on ladder, so it’s still solid even after the nerfs to Gladiator Arena & Dark Rift.
