Standard archer list with mass amount of cycle with the shadow shifts, rapid shots, thieves guild and jarl. One of the strengths of the deck is the consistency due to all the cycle and skulks thinning the deck; I am usually able to draw half my deck before the game ends. It has the potential to out grind control decks with value creatures and it can control aggro decks due to all the ping effects.

I currently run 1x kinsmen over astrid for the extra burst and heal. A more burn heavy version with 3x kinsmen over slayers and replacing blood dragon for 3x vigilante may be better since this deck has the ability to sneak so much damage with mournhold traitors in the early game.

Monk is a really tough match up, but giants, garnag and jarl can steal wins. Additionally, shadow shift allows you to play around dawn's wrath and bypass guards both late and early game. Sorcerer is another tough matchup, and is usually decided by the ring of magicka, skulks going off or timely giants. In general against blue decks, go face rather than the board since you cant fight ward creatures.

Very good deck. I don't have all the cards but I'm only missing a couple. Reive included. Thanks for the upload Warriors!

75% winrate to legend with this deck this month. I don't have 3 shamans or Blood Dragon, so -1 astrid, -2 shaman, -1 Blood Dragon, +1 Underworld Vigilante and +3 kinsman. Worked great!

Congratulations! Glad you liked the deck and it helped you climb to legend! I like kinsmen a lot, the burn version with kinsmen and 7x chargers works very well :)
Hi warriors7. I'm really loving your archer deck. I'm playing the burn version with kinsman over slayers and 6x chargers. My only difference is that I'm using morkul gatekeepers instead of murkwater shaman (don't have them). So I want to ask you how important the shaman is to you. Most archer decks I've seen (including inezz) include the gatekeepers and the shaman. Is do you miss gatekeepers? I find they don't do much except add a damage buff. Whereas when I play against shamans with my control deck I feel the shamans are a priority removal target.

May I ask for your thoughts regarding the debate? Because as it stands if i did craft the shamans they would replace the gatekeepers. But then I wonder if it would be slowing my deck down since gatekeepers pump damage (like in cases where like late game I need an extra couple points to add to my charger, or mid game to make a trade, or early game to protect my skulk). Do you miss the gatekeepers? The shamans feel more like a control type play where you do lots of favourable trades and hopefully maintain board control/tempo. And I totally get that. Anyways I'd love to hear your thoughts.

I personally love kinsmen as well and they are fine replacements for slayers. Morkul fits in the burn version and is a very solid card in general. Buffing creatures to make favorable trades (ex. buffing mournhold to trade into hive defender) and having prophecy is very valuable.

You don't need shamans, but they help you fight the board and generate card advantage. Against prophecy battlemage, they win you the game. Most control decks don't run crushing blows anymore and by adding another high value target, you can run them out of removal very easily. A downside of shaman is that it dies to storm, whereas something like Ogrim does not. Shamans are not a necessary craft for this deck to work, if you have ogrims/deshaan, they are fine replacements as well. Even adding more 2 drops like cutpurse would do as you have jarls to compensate.
