I’ve played 22 matches at legend rank, and I won all of them (lots of them where realy close though). Only lost to a guy that had incredibele luck, had removal for 3 drain and then top decked laneth >_<.Playing this deck is hard, I adjust my playstyle based on what my opponent is playing.
I know what to expect and keep my answers to that in hand.
Had lots of fun with mighty conjuring, a 8 8 breaktrough ward guard that suprisses most(since who plays mighty conjuring right??) is just epic.
I usely play control until I have such a huge board I can kill in 1 or 2 turns, or I let them have one side of the field and then “creature with breaktrough+ completed contract+ uncontrollable rage” OTK them.
This deck is so flexible, it always provides lots of ways to deal with threats and enough drain to almost always be save for at least one turn.
Again hard to play and maybe I was lucky, but for now Im undeafeated

The scorpion is just there as backup(or to get drain). Rarely use it, but when equally matched having drain wins the game

I don’t think that word means what you thinks means
do you not think it’s possible he lost before he got into legend?
anyway. if you craft this deck, you will never lose again at legend rank
Daggerfall mage: its a really good for baord control, getting a plus 2 cards item that also helps with damage. I dont really see a good replacement for it.
Just look for something with cost 3 that fits any of the above. Some suggestions: telvanni arcenist, cunning ally, lower cannon smith and cornerclub cambler. But none of these are close to as good as daggerfall mage.
PS: If you like this deck then plz upvote it
I’m at rank 3 at the moment and I see something strange here. Perhaps there is a huge difference in what decks are played in each rank but on your screenshot I see no Tribunal while on rank 3 I meet ONLY control tribunal. Nothing else but that. How does this deck perform against them? (If you played against them ofc).
Cast into time on hand of dagoth is a pain…
I think its key to go agressive againt them.
telvos is now not good enough for this deck.
wil think about a replacement. any thoughts?
This is one of my favorite decks since it’s so fun to play.
Any ideas on what to replace Tel Vos yet?
Interesting. It leans a bit in the aggressive side. Practically one rune a turn.
How do you feel about Conjuration Scholar? It’s still a defensive play just like Tel Vos.
What all these cards lack is the nice ward on a 5-power creature. Therana’s Lawman has it, but the card itself is pretty underwhelming for its cost.
